A member of the communications team of the National Democratic Congress, Martin Adator, has called on the government to ensure that the promises made to Ghanaians regarding the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative are fully implemented.
According to him, the government must demonstrate its commitment to the policy by taking concrete steps to achieve its core objective of recovering allegedly misappropriated state funds and public resources.
Speaking on the Anopa Bosuo programme on ATV Ghana, Mr. Adator stressed that the success of the initiative will depend largely on how effectively the authorities follow through on their commitments.
He noted that many Ghanaians are paying close attention to the implementation of the ORAL initiative and expect the government to deliver tangible results rather than make promises without action.
The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative was introduced as part of broader efforts to strengthen accountability and retrieve public funds believed to have been misappropriated through corruption or financial mismanagement.
Mr. Adator emphasised that the credibility of the initiative will depend on transparency and the government’s willingness to ensure that any resources recovered are properly accounted for and returned to the state.
Anti-corruption efforts remain a key issue in Ghana’s governance landscape, with civil society organisations and political actors frequently calling for stronger measures to protect public funds and improve accountability in the management of state resources.
