Political Noise, Who Will Fight for the Children Nobody Is Listening To?

Abuse and Assault are tired and complaining. Are we truly safe in this country as a people, especially the girl child?

Institutes meant to support and safeguard the girl child is now becoming a decoy for assault and abused. Yet,tradition from society makes it difficult for her to Speak out even when she is being abused. The respect for the elderly bounds them from speaking up. She is sent to school to gain a formal education, but instead, she is being introduced to something far beyond education itself. She is meant to receive protection and a proper upbringing from society, but society is failing her through these assaults. She is sent to church to learn about God and righteousness, yet some pastors and church leaders are taking advantage of her. Is it truly a crime to be born a girl?

Condemning the Act Without Shielding Behind Politics

The core problem lies in how educated individuals and certain people, including lawmakers, are politicizing this entire issue. When are we going to stop blaming a collective group and start holding the individual accountable? When is this behavior going to end? Let’s not sweep the issue under the carpet of political parties; the association is not the problem, but rather certain individuals. Why support or defend such an act simply because the person involved belongs to your political party or inner circle?

What has happened to our moral values? Why defend a harmful act to protect one side while the victim is left to suffer lifelong emotional trauma? Must tragedy strike the life of all children before you speak out and demand justice?

Let’s put our political lenses aside for a moment and face the facts: we need accountability without exception.

Demanding Severe Consequences Regardless of Status

Surprisingly, some people are defending this ,how did we end up here? There must be severe punishment for anyone, regardless of their status. Can we, as citizens, stop defending such acts and finally face the facts? This is not the first time this has happened; it is simply the case currently trending. Have we paused to ask how many students in different schools experience this in silence? Yet, here we are, defending or blaming a group simply because the man in question the “headmaster” is affiliated with a particular faction. The person in question needs to be punished; whichever group he belongs to has nothing to do with his punishment. Let us speak against the act itself. Let us condemn the behavior, not shield the perpetrator behind politics. #lets protect the girl child #lets teach the girl child how to speak up
