Stop using STUDENTS AS DOMESTIC SERVANTS- GES to teachers

The Minister of Education has directed the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to ensure that no student is made to serve a headmaster or teacher as a domestic servant.
The directive forms part of measures to protect students from abuse, exploitation and the misuse of authority in educational institutions.
The Minister said the Ministry would strengthen safeguarding measures and reporting systems to ensure that students were treated with dignity and their safety is protected.
